Barossa Career Service

The Barossa Career Service aims to help people enhance their career opportunities by providing assistance (usually at no cost to the individual) with the job selection process (resumes, applications and interviews), career planning and training. We are particularly keen to link up with people who are out of school, out of work and out of training; we can assist people who are unemployed or underemployed (i.e. casual, part-time) or seeking a career change. Our objective is to help people to be ready for work and to increase their opportunities to obtain jobs within our region. 

Our career planning service can provide the tools to plan for your preferred working future. We can assist by providing help in:

  • Deciding on a career path based on your thinking style and values and interests
  • Highlighting your skills, qualifications and abilities
  • Preparing your resumes/CV’s
  • Preparing job applications and statements addressing selection criteria
  • Preparing you for interviews
  • Researching the hidden job market
  • Researching training and development and up-skilling options
  • Assisting with University of TAFE applications
  • Identifying and researching Apprenticeship & Traineeship opportunities

The Barossa Career Service also has the goal of supporting businesses with their workforce planning and staff development. We can assist by providing:
