Established in 2005, Artisans of Barossa is a collaboration of 8 family owned winemakers who operate Vino Lokal, a wine bar and wine room located in Tanunda in the Barossa Valley. The group is also due to open a 65 seat restaurant and wine tasting lounge in late 2021 that will become the new home of Artisans of Barossa.

We are seeking an experienced Chef for Vino Lokal. Reporting to the Director of Cuisine, you are expected to work with the team to contribute to the delivery an exceptional wine, food and hospitality experience for our customers.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A proven track record of working in a high paced, team environment to deliver a great customer experience and achieve commercial objectives
• Minimum professional qualification of Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Ability to maintain high levels of food hygiene, productivity and customer-service standards.
• Great personal presentation, hygiene and grooming standards and be willing to engage with our customers
• Availability over a flexible  7-day roster
