Stratco is looking for bright and talented individual who has a strong work ethic and an enthusiastic attitude to join our team at our Gawler store. This is a great opportunity for a flexible and customer-focused person to become an integral part of our growing national and international company.

As a retail team member you will be a member of a dedicated store team and will often be the first point of contact with our customers either face to face or via the phone. In this role you will be expected to find out the needs of the customer and then present them with a suitable solution. As such you will need to have a thorough understanding of the greenlife products and services provided by Stratco. You will also need to have an understanding of the other products offered by Stratco and will need to be willing to participate in regular training relating to Stratco’s products and systems to ensure your knowledge is kept up to date.

The role will involve:

• Face to face and telephone customer service and sales
• Maintaining the garden centre section of the store
• Flexibility to work in hardware sales / retail cashier as required
• Participation in training and personal development sessions
• General housekeeping activities
• Adherence to Stratco safety and other policies

The successful applicants will have the following skills and attributes:

• Commercial experience in greenlife sales
• A passion to deliver outstanding customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• An eye for detail whilst working in a fast paced environment
• The ability to provide solutions and drive sales
• Experience with POS in a retail cashier environment
• Horticultural experience or qualifications advantageous
• A commitment to excellence

As our stores operate 7 days per week, you will be required to work some weekends.
