KITCHEN PERSON position - The successful applicant will be responsible for providing quality food services in line with the Food Safety Program, responsible for their own standards of practice and legal responsibilities & accountability and must work within the organisational policies and procedures. They must adhere to strict personal hygiene/ grooming and dress code policies.
Skills and experience:
Relevant experience in Aged Care catering, current FSP, WHS legislation and HACCP.
Casual position (with the view to ppt) employed under the Aged Care Award.

Licence:
- current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) (Preferred)
Work Eligibility:
- Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident) (Required)
Job Duties:
- Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and organise kitchen and equipment in adherence to hygiene and safety regulations
- Preserve and store foodstuffs in appropriate temperature-controlled facilities
- Operate an industrial dishwasher, washing dishes and glassware by hand when necessary
- Unload dishes, silverware, and glassware promptly and store them in the appropriate places
- Carry out basic cleaning tasks around the premises
- Escalate major issues where necessary (e.g. safety risks, equipment failure)
- Other duties as requested

Experience:
- aged care catering: 1 year (Preferred)
Licence:
